For this Chatham Township, NJ home, KraftMaster Renovations designed and built a second-floor addition over the garage, expanding the home to include a master ensuite, a spacious walk-in closet, a new laundry room, and a taller tray ceiling for added architectural elegance. The challenge was ensuring this addition seamlessly blended with the home’s original design, rather than appearing as an afterthought. The master ensuite is a true retreat, featuring a luxurious steam shower enclosed in floor-to-ceiling glass tile with a flush floor, offering a spa-like experience. A freestanding soaking tub sits beneath large, light-filled windows with plantation shutters, complemented by custom wainscoting and marble herringbone flooring that add timeless elegance. The combination of cool gray tones, polished chrome fixtures, and high-end finishes creates a relaxing, sophisticated space designed for both comfort and style.

Beyond the ensuite, the addition includes a large walk-in closet with custom built-ins for ample storage and a dedicated second-floor laundry room, adding convenience to daily routines.
