KraftMaster Featured in Houzz: Stylish Small Bathroom with Timeless Touches

We’re proud to share that one of our recent projects was featured in Houzz’s article, 7 Stylish New Small Bathrooms.
This beautifully compact 40 sq. ft. bathroom in Chatham, NJ, designed by Vicky Karcich of KraftMaster Renovations, was part of a second-floor addition for a growing family. The design focused on functionality for young children, while incorporating timeless materials and thoughtful details that elevate the space.
“Since the tub is being used for small kids, the client opted for a shower curtain to make it easier to get in and out,” says designer Vicky Karcich. “They can add a shower door down the road if they choose to.”
From the herringbone-patterned porcelain floor in petrified wood blue, to the soft blue penny round accents and warm wood vanity — every choice balanced durability with charm. White tile and light paint tones opened up the space, while smart storage solutions ensured practicality for daily family life.
Designer tip: “If a homeowner doesn’t want to commit to a specific design aesthetic, it’s always best to think timeless.”
