As part of a reimagined first floor in this 1850s historic home, we created a brand-new powder room that seamlessly blends classic elegance with modern functionality. The space was carefully designed to honor the home’s rich history while integrating contemporary elements for a refined yet timeless appeal.

A striking floating quartz vanity serves as the focal point, offering a sleek and minimalist aesthetic while maximizing space. The oversized arched mirror and wall-mounted sconces add depth and character, reflecting soft ambient lighting that enhances the room’s airy feel. The matte black fixtures contrast beautifully against the crisp white walls, adding a bold yet sophisticated touch that ties the entire design together.

To ground the space, hexagonal black floor tiles introduce a geometric element that complements the room’s modern flair while still feeling at home in a historic setting.
