I can not recommend Kraftmaster Renovations enough!
We recently contracted them for a major attic renovation. Our vision was to turn our attic space with barely any room to stand into a master suite oasis complete with an en-suite. After looking into a number of companies in the area (North Jersey- Essex County) we decided to call Kraftmaster. From the first phone call, to the initial consultation, through to the final punch list, Kraftmaster consistently exceeded any expectations and delivered the highest quality renovation of our attic space imaginable.
It started with Bob and Carly coming to our house and us explaining our design ideas. Shortly after, we met with Carly who presented us with 3 wonderful options. Her design options took into account our style and aesthetic. At the same time, she offered many creative ideas that took the design to another level.
Kraftmaster handled all the permits with the township and the job started on schedule. We were told it would be a 3 month project and it was almost completely on schedule (the only delays were due to us changing some plans in the middle - rebuilding the existing chimney and deciding to re-side the entire house with vinyl cedar shaker style siding and a delay with the flooring company).
All work was done in a timely manner, with much care for cleanliness and with meticulous craftmanship. Peter and Walter led the carpentry which was done with such amazing precision (we had the entire ceiling covered in wood - both white oak and cedar and their work with all the attic angles involved was top notch). I would also like to mention that Peter is a true man of integrity. They were both a pleasure to work with and communication was great. In fact, communication with the entire Kraftmaster team was excellent because they utilize the CoConstruct app which connects everyone in the company to all aspects of the project- it really made things go SMOOTHLY).
Chris, the project manager, kept everything moving smoothly and on time. And he dealt with our MANY tetxs with questions, concerns, change orders, etc with patience and attention. Moon, Danny and Mike did an amazing job with the bathroom plumbing and running it up from the basement with minimal impact to the rest of the house. Alex did the electrical which also was done really fast and with a great attention for detail. The same can be said for Bill who installed the ABSOLUELY GORGEOUS wide plank floors. Alexandra coordinated everything for us and handled many of our questions- always promptly and with courtesy. Steve expedited the project and took care of the protecting of the house (covering floors, doors, etc), cleaning throughout the project, being here for deliveries and so much else. We had many great conversations with Steve who is a great guy in addition to being a great worker.
