Our mission was to strike gold in this craftsman kitchen resurrected from the 70's
Making space for two cooks, by moving a peninsula just a few feet. We centered a sink under new casement windows giving an uninterrupted view into the beautiful backyard.
Spread out with plenty of elbow room now next to the cook top previously cramped by the small oven left no counter space. The dishwasher took a new home right of the sink allowing for a super susan in the corner adding much needed storage. We removed the closet that prevented the kitchen from having continuous cabinetry; just look at all the storage now!
Now they have a wide open beautiful space that functions, and all the appliances are located where usage is optimized. Built in oven and microwave adjacent to the refrigerator, and stylish ventilation over the cook top add to the beauty of this design.
Warming drawer is nestled under the built-in microwave, keeping things toasty while friends and family now relax and enjoy the kitchen the family has wanted for years.
